2024 Furlough
Greetings from Romania! We have been back home in Romania now for two weeks. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the States, visiting our supporting churches and seeing family, there is no place like home.

We have certainly had a busy couple of months! It is such a blessing to serve here and see God show Himself faithful time and time again! We are excited to share reports of answered prayers and souls saved!

We hope this update finds you blessed and refreshed from the holidays. Here in Romania, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are customarily busy and eventful. This year was no different.

Seasons Greetings! As 2022, soon comes to a close we’d like to reflect on all that God has accomplished in our ministry through you! Thank you for all your prayers and support this year!
2022 October
Thanksgiving is upon us. It’s a time of year when many of us take notice of all the wonderful blessings God has given us in this life. There are far too many to count. Our God is so Good! This year we are especially thankful for the spiritual harvest that we have reaped!
2022 September
Last week, Oli stood up after church and surrendered his life to God. Praise the LORD! He was very sick in the hospital at the beginning of September. Although we were not allowed to visit Oli due to hospital rules, we were able to get him a Bible with a bigger print that he requested while in the hospital. The very same week he came home from the hospital he was in church.

2022 June
We are thanking the Lord for His provision, strength, and increase this summer! Normally we have about 15-20 children in attendance for our kids’ clubs, but it has been more like 25-30 now, as we prepare for our annual VBS for the last week of July.
2022 May
The Lord is fighting for Ukraine! It has been amazing to witness how God has been working to bring brothers and sisters in Christ from across the world together to help Ukraine and ultimately bring glory to our Lord and Savior.
2022 March
It’s now day 40 since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. So far, 10 million Ukrainians have fled the country and about 90 thousand of these refugees are currently in Romania.
2022 February
As we write this letter, our thoughts and prayers along with everyone else’s around the world are for Ukraine. We are deeply concerned over the developments unfolding as Putin has launched a full-scale war on Ukraine.
2022 January
We hope that you all had a blessed Christmas and New Years holiday. Our Christmas and New Years was very busy as usual. Christmas is the perfect time to remember that we should give to the needy because God gave us His only Son when we were sinners in need of a Savior. This year, our teens played a big part in our Christmas donations.
2021 November
The leaves have all fallen and the colder temperatures are setting in. We haven’t had our first snow fall yet, but wintry weather is quickly approaching. As we are nearing the end of another year, we want to take a moment to let you know how much we appreciate you.

We are so overwhelmed by God’s goodness in how He has chosen to provide for our need of a church van through the hands of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We are ever so grateful for the sacrifice that many of you have made to meet our need!
2021 August
We are rejoicing in the Lord for His goodness and for answered prayer! Since our move to the church here in Sanmihaiu, Romania, nearly three years ago, we have been praying for the salvation of the parents of our bus children. Praise be to God that He hears and answers prayer!
2021 June
Gabi’s baptism along with Fairi’s and Costel’s salvation testimonies are wonderful spiritual victories after all the petty problems we’ve had to address within the church lately. We praise the Lord that He has chosen to refresh our spirits with the fruits of our labor!

Praise the Lord that we are still standing after a particular heavy period of spiritual warfare! A special thank you to the handful of you who fasted and prayed with us in our time of need! We have been refreshed through your prayers!
2021 April
Time and time again we find ourselves praising the Lord for His goodness! The protests have died down and restrictions due to current covid cases have remained reasonable. Thus, allowing us to gather together as a church to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Greetings in the name of our risen Lord Jesus Christ, and Happy Easter! This month, we have been blessed beyond measure through the young adults from Ruben’s home church in Ploiesti, Romania!

We are praising God for answered prayers! Thank you again for your faithful prayers! We know that if you are praying about it, God is working on it!
2021 January
It is so reassuring to see how God provides and answers our prayers with every update that we send! While these updates are normally written to encourage prayer, (they are called prayer letters after all), in truth as God works, they often become praise letters.
2020 Christmas
Although this year has not gone to plan for many of us, it has all gone according to the Lord’s plan. God is always in control. He always has a plan. Our lives are secure with him. And despite this year of disruption and change we can trust His plan because we trust Him!

2020 August
Thank you all for your prayers for us and for the children on behalf of our “Out of this World” VBS! Everyday the kids heard the gospel portrayed and incorporated in with facts about outer space and the Bible.
2020 July
Praise the Lord! He is still saving souls! This past month, 3 new children have received Christ as their Savior!!! Amen!
2020 June
Praise the Lord! Romania is now in phase 3 of the pandemic de-escalation plan. That means that we can now finally hold church services inside again! Hallelujah!
2020 May
Praise the Lord! After two months of the stay at home order in Romania, the government has finally began to loosen restrictions. Hallelujah!
2020 Quarantine
Romania has been on lockdown now for a full month. It is predicted that we have yet another week or so before Romania hits its peak of the spread. However, Praise the Lord, more and more people everyday are recovering from the coronavirus.

We implore you to pray!!! Something is happening in our little village of Sânmihiau, Romania! In the short time span of a week, our village is going through what seems to be a spiritual awakening!

Is it February yet? This is an eagerly anticipated month for us as the 1st of February is Eva’s birthday. Isn’t it hard to believe that she is old enough to be two years old?

We trust this report reaches you blessed and refreshed from the holidays. Our Christmas and New Years were jam packed with festive activities. Isn’t it just the perfect time of year to remind folks why Jesus came to the world?

A year ago we were updating you about our recent move here to the village of Sânmihiau. We knew that God had called us here, but who could have predicted all the great things He had in store for us? We praise the Lord for all that He has allowed us to accomplish in this 1st year at Grace of Life Baptist Church!
2019 September
Thank you all for your faithful prayers on our behalf for our Deep Sea Adventure VBS. We all had a blast! There were tons of water games and the kids loved playing on the huge inflatable slide. All in all, there were 65 children in total who came and heard the gospel!
2019 July
So much has happened since our last letter, it’s difficult to know where to start. Let’s give God the praise for what He has done in our little village church of Sânmihiau. In the last two weeks, 11 more children have come forward to be saved!

School’s out for summer and it’s that time to prepare for our camps and summer VBS outreaches. Every summer, American missionary teams come to Romania to help with these ministries…

Spring has sprung here in Romania and we have begun to enjoy the blessings of warmer weather, a stronger shining sun, and longer days. Like many of you, we have begun preparing for the celebration of the Resurrection of the Son, Jesus.

It is always a pleasure to share with you how God continues to bless us and His work here in Romania! It has only been a short time since the move to our new church and new home, yet in many ways the Lord has undoubtably revealed to us that, He is in it!
2018 Fall
God is good, all the time! And all the time, God is good! We could go on and on about the goodness of God that we have experienced in Romania since our last update, but for now we will just give you some of the highlights.
2018 Summer
So far, we have completed four different sessions of VBS camp and tent meetings. Thank you all so much for your prayers! Many children, teens, and adults have heard the clear message of the Gospel. A number of these have also accepted Christ as their Savior!
